Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is excited to be hosting a Habitat Family Picnic Event at the Red River Zoo on August 16th! Our goal is to bring our whole Habitat community together to celebrate our great work we've done over the years and build community with one another.
Everyone must RSVP before 5 PM on August 2nd and let us know how many people from your family will be attending or update us if your plans change and you won't be able to attend. This event is open to our Habitat Homeowners, Future Homeowners, Key Volunteers, Board Members, Committee Members and LAHFH and Habitat ReStore staff and their families.
We will be having a short program inside the Carousel area at 6 PM and after that everyone is free to enjoy the zoo and the entertainment of the animals!
We will be checking people in at the front entrance of the zoo, so everyone must be registered in advance. We want to make sure that we have enough food for everyone that attends. Each guest will have the choice of one beef hamburger, beef hotdog, or a chicken sandwich. There will be a few side dishes, desserts, and lemonade. If there is food remaining after everyone has gone through the line, then people may have the option of getting seconds.
